Why give?
Public funding is down, competition is heightened - help is needed.
With governmental support waning, academic fees rising, and the costs of recruiting and retaining talent higher than ever, support from our friends is one of the soundest means to bridge the funding gap without compromising excellence. Investment in people, programmes and infrastructure is needed to ensure Imperial maintains its position as one of the world’s leading natural sciences training and research institutions.
Every gift to the Faculty, large or small, is welcome and has the power to transform lives at Imperial and beyond.
Rewards for donors
Donors will be named in the Annual Fundraising Report and invited to a special thank you event. We look forward to meeting you there and updating you on developments.

Support the Faculty of Natural Sciences with a Legacy
IAN NEWMAN (MATHEMATICS 1990)
“Having reached a stage in life when writing a will seemed a sensible thing to do, I naturally considered supporting the College with a legacy gift. I very much hope that this gift will benefit students and will help the College to attract talented individuals who might otherwise look elsewhere for their university education.”

Nuture talent by supporting scholarships
JACK HARE, IMPERIAL COLLEGE PHD SCHOLAR
“My scholarship is allowing me to follow the career that I want, and to pursue the research that I’m inspired by. Without the scholarship there wouldn’t have been the money for me to come to Imperial. I am grateful to all those who chose to support scholarships at Imperial.”

President's Scholarship Fund
AMALIA MADDEN, PHYSICS PRESIDENT’S SCHOLAR
“My student loan didn’t cover my accommodation in halls and I needed my scholarship to cover the remainder. Had I not received the scholarship, I would have needed to get a job, and that would have left little time to pursue my passion for music.”
