How has the scholarship award enabled you to pursue your ambitions? 

The scholarship award has allowed me to engage with researchers from different academic fields and take time to reflect on the impact of my work for the wider community. Being awarded the Schrodinger scholarship also looks great on my CV and I believe it helped me move to the next stage in my career.

Why did you choose to study at Imperial? 

I chose to study at Imperial because the project aims were the most exciting among the several positions I had applied for at the time. This particular project required learning new skills in Chemical Biology and that really interested me.

What are your plans now that the programme has finished? 

I now work as a Research Scientist in the lab of Professor Alessio Ciulli at the University of Dundee. Our small team collaborates with Boehringer Ingelheim in Vienna to develop new drug candidates for diseases with currently unmet medical needs.
