How has the scholarship award enabled you to pursue your ambitions? 

The Schrödinger scholarship has provided me with excellent financial support to cover the entirety of my tuition fees, conference costs and living expenses. The scholarship has therefore really enabled me to focus on my scientific work without having to worry about other aspects of my life. Another incredible feature of the Schrödinger scholarship is its focus on academic networking. As a result of this I was able to discuss some of my research with a Nobel laureate in Chemistry, what an unforgettable moment in my life!

Why did you choose to study at Imperial? 

Having completed my undergraduate degree at Imperial College, I was already aware of the world-class research that was occurring in the chemistry department and in the Centre for Plastic Electronics. In particular, I was truly inspired by the research performed at the McCulloch group, especially in the areas of organic bioelectronics and third-generation photovoltaic cells. This, in combination with the close relationship that I had developed with my supervisor before even starting my PhD were the primary reasons why I chose to study at Imperial.

What have you been up to on the programme so far? 

So far, the program has been amazing in every single aspect. The fact that the college has entrusted me with this scholarship is a great honor and motivates me every single day to give the best of myself.
