How has the scholarship award enabled you to pursue your ambitions?
The Schrödinger Scholarship has given me the time and freedom to dedicate myself solely to my studies. By providing both financial stability and networking opportunities, it is helping to pave the way hopefully toward a career in academia.
Why did you choose to study at Imperial?
The Department of Chemistry at Imperial is truly world-leading and it is an honour to be working at the new Molecular Sciences Research Hub. The choice of Imperial for my doctoral studies was an easy one to make with the departments history, my supervisor's track record, and the College's location in such a vibrant city - these were all key factors.
What have you been up to on the programme so far?
So far my time in the program has been evenly split between lab weeks, learning air sensitive chemistry techniques, and work from home weeks, where I have begun to employ computational chemistry techniques relevant to our work.
