How has the scholarship award enabled you to pursue your ambitions?

The chance to remain at Imperial after having written my master's thesis here with the help from both the Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics groups has given me the chance to build upon what I'd already started during my master's, instead of starting a PhD project from scratch.

Why did you choose to study at Imperial?

I completed my master's degree here as part of an Erasmus exchange; this enabled me to get better acquainted with my current group here and lay the groundwork for a fruitful collaboration.

What have you been up to on the programme so far?

I've appreciated the chance to attend the Schrödinger lecture in February, and I find it very productive to occasionally interact with PhD students from other faculties.
