How has the scholarship award enabled you to pursue your ambitions?

My scholarship award has allowed me to undertake a PhD in Chemical Biology, using Chemical tools to investigate novel targets for antimlarials. I find this PhD topic fascinating, and have thoroughly enjoyed my research.

Imperial is a world-leading university, with amazing research offering some fantastic projects for PhD students. This, combined with its unbeatable location, made it the perfect choice for my PhD.

What have you been up to on the programme so far?

So far I have enjoyed my project immensly, and am very grateful to my supervisor and to my scholarship for the opportunity. I have learnt a lot of skills and am hopeful that it will allow me to pursue an academic career in the future.
