Why choose Medicine at Imperial?

At Imperial, you'll have access to a very large and diverse patient population through our links to a wide range of National Health Service (NHS) Trusts, hospitals and clinics both in and outside London, giving you the chance to gain a variety of clinical experience from the very start of your studies.

You’ll grow and develop under the supervision of clinicians and researchers who are internationally renowned in their fields, and spend a year intensively studying a specialist subject of your choice from our 17 different pathways, including Remote Medicine, Neuroscience & Mental Health, Business, and Global Health.

You will enjoy an active community within your own student-led organisation – Imperial College School of Medicine Students’ Union.

Where could your degree take you?

You’ll graduate with the skills and knowledge to work as a junior doctor in a number of healthcare settings, and be qualified for provisional registration with the General Medical Council (GMC). As well as practising medicine, our graduates have gone on to excel in biomedical research, the pharmaceutical industry, scientific journalism, and healthcare management.
