Negotiation and influencing skills are increasingly important and valued in work and study. This blended course introduces you to an understanding of, and practice in the skills which contribute to constructive negotiation.
Course Information
You will need to dedicate a total time of ~2.5 hours to complete this course, which includes ~30 minutes preparatory asynchronous activities carried out via Blackboard. There is a lot of material to explore via the Course Notes and links on Blackboard after the live course, and optional follow ups are available.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course and using preparatory and post- course materials you will be better able to:

- Identify the stakeholders involved, their motives, objectives and styles of communication
- Outline seven stages of a negotiation
- Practice applying negotiation skills to help you prepare
- Assess contexts and opportunities to improve your negotiation, persuasion and conflict handling skills
