External Advisory Board

Overall Purpose:

To advise on the future development of the programme of master’s and doctoral professional skills courses from an external perspective.

Terms of reference:

To review and comment on the programme of Doctoral and Master’s professional skills courses, taking account of:

  • The attributes valued most by employers of Imperial graduates
  • Provision at other Russell Group HEIs, drawing on good practice
  • UK benchmarks for researcher development
  • The views of Imperial alumni
  • The Graduate School’s own mission statement and stated goals for student development
