Open days
Our Open Days provide the perfect opportunity for you to come and get your first glimpse of what living and studying at Imperial may be like. Throughout the day our accommodation team is on hand to answer all of your questions and provide advice. We run presentations offering an overview of Imperial's accommodation and private sector housing as well as how the College can support students in making the decision on where to live. There is even a replica student bedroom which shows the average size of a single room in one of our halls. Of course, room sizes and types vary, so we would recommend going on one of the hall tours.
Every year we show thousands of prospective undergraduate students and parents around some of our residences on the South Kensington campus. Each hall has its own character and atmosphere, so come and see first-hand what they have to offer and choose what best suits you.
Unfortunately, due to security arrangements, it will not be possible for you to visit the halls independently. Therefore we strongly advise that you use the Open Day to visit our accommodation as there will be limited opportunity to do so further on in the application cycle. There is more information on each of our halls on our accommodation pages:
Details of upcoming Open Days can be found at the Visit Imperial site. If you are unable to make a College Open Day you can book a campus tour, led by students, which runs on Wednesdays. We are working towards becoming fully inclusive and arrange our tours to be in fully accessible locations. However, if you have any particular needs, please don't hesitate to contact us at accommodation@imperial.ac.uk
