The Imperial College Boathouse is located on the Putney Embankment overlooking the River Thames. It has been home to the Imperial College Rowing Club since 1938. The accommodation at the Boathouse is specifically for elite Imperial rowing athletes.
The convenience of its riverside location makes it easy to fit rowing practice around your studies, while on-site gym, physiotherapy and massage services help you stay in top shape.
Please note: students are chosen to live at the Putney Boathouse based on their rowing ability. The accommodation at the boathouse is specifically for elite Imperial rowing athletes and will be reviewed termly. The College does not accept applications for this residence.

The Putney Boathouse offers self-catered single study room accommodation for 6 students. Rent includes utility bills, internet access, basic contents insurance, maintenance, communal cleaning and a contribution towards your halls activity fund.

The Putney Boathouse is located on the south side of Putney Bridge, with spectacular views overlooking the River Thames.
The Boathouse is a 30 minute bike ride to the main South Kensington campus or a 40 minute tube journey from Putney Bridge station.
Putney town centre is home to a myriad of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars.
