Healthcare in the UK

Keeping Safe in London

Dr Mark Daniels from Imperial Health Centre will talk to you about registering with a GP, the types of Doctor’s appointments available in the UK, staying safe, looking after your mental health and dealing with exam pressures and the pressures of University life.

Nigel Ward from the Security team will cover how to keep yourself safe while you are living in London. Some of the topics Nigel will focus on include: security awareness, keeping your personal possessions safe, E-crime, social media and keeping safe.

HOST UK is a charity which enables international students to visit a host family at a location anywhere in the United Kingdom. Linda Hellyer from Host will give you an insight on what Host is and how the process works
