Please note that fees are charged by year of entry to the College and not year of study. The fees listed within this section are for students in the 2023–2024 academic session. To find the fee for your course, please choose your Department from the boxes below.
The fees for continuing Home PG Taught and Research Masters students will increase annually by the average CPI value from April the previous year to March of the calendar year in which the session commences; however due to the steep inflationary increase (10.0%) Imperial College have undertaken to set a rate of 8.0% for Academic Year 2023/24. Home fees are rounded to the nearest £50.00 and capped at the New Entrant Fee Rate.
The fees for continuing Non-Home students will increase annually by the average CPI value from April the previous year to March of the calendar year in which the session commences; however due to the steep inflationary increase (10.0%) Imperial College have undertaken to set a rate of 8.0% for Academic Year 2023/24. Non- Home fees are rounded to the nearest £50.00 and capped at the New Entrant Fee Rate.
Except where otherwise indicated, the fees for continuing part-time students will increase annually by an amount linked to inflation as above including part-time students on modular programmes; the fee paid for subsequent years of study may be higher than the fee listed here.
Tuition Fees explained:
- In order to provide a flexible offer for students, many of our Master’s level programmes have entry points at PG Certificate and/or PG Diploma level. Where this is applicable the fees for PG Certificates and PG Diplomas are calculated as a Full Time Equivalent (FTE) of the full Master’s degree.
- If you have already acquired the academic credit for the PG Cert or PG Dip, you will be liable to pay the conversion tuition fee rate of the year of study (i.e. either the difference between the PG Cert and PG Dip fee, the difference between the PG Cert and Master’s fee or the difference between the PG Dip and Master’s fee).
