Our scholarships search helps you search for all available scholarships in one place.
You can filter your search to get results tailored to you:
- Fee status: whether your fee status is Home or Overseas – find out more about your fee status
- Study mode: whether you're studying full-time or part-time
- Department: which department your course is delivered by
The application process is different for each scholarship, so make sure you follow the instructions carefully for each award.
Also take note of the closing date – if it has already passed for this year, put it in your calendar for next year as a number of scholarships are available for continuing as well as new students.
Some scholarships are handled externally and you may be required to liaise directly with the scholarship body.
Please note that, although updated regularly, this is not an exhaustive list of all scholarships offered at Imperial.
External scholarships
Many organisations, such as charities and trusts, offer scholarships and awards which can help fund your studies. You may be able to use a mixture of funding sources, so it's worth exploring what you may be eligible for.
We've compiled some key scholarship search enginges and funding sources to help you find a scholarship from outside of Imperial.
Spam emails
Please be aware of spam emails that request personal and sensitive information. These emails may request information regarding a bursary.
Before responding to an email, please consider these points to verify whether it is authentic:
- All our official email addresses end in "@imperial.ac.uk"
- We will never ask you for your mother’s maiden name, your National Insurance number, your bank card number or the security number on the back of your card
- All correspondence will address to you by your name
- All correspondence will be signed by a named person, not just a position title
- You do not need to apply for a bursary through Imperial, you only ever submit your details to Student Finance England (SAAS, SFNI or SFW etc)

Submit departmental scholarships
We are excited to announce the launch of the new Scholarship Search Tool. The new tool will be managed centrally by the Student Financial Support team and will be the primary search engine for our prospective students when searching for scholarship opportunities in College.
