Stay over the summer

Imperial students can stay in Evelyn Gardens and Xenia in Waterloo, with availability ranging from one week to the whole summer.

Summer accommodation is available from Saturday 1 July 2023.

Summer Accommodation for Imperial Students

Summer accommodation applications for 2023 are now open. 

Experience a summer in London and take advantage of our halls' location! Choose between Evelyn Gardens, nestled in the streets of Chelsea, or Xenia in the heart of Waterloo, minutes away from the Southbank.

Rooms can be booked in weekly blocks of between 1 to 12 weeks at Xenia or 10-12 weeks at Evelyn Gardens. Prices will vary depending on the length of your stay.

To be eligible for a place in halls over the summer you must be enrolled as an Imperial student for the duration of your stay. If you are a final year student at Imperial, you will not be eligible and you will need to arrange alternative accommodation in the private sector.

Due to limited availability, it is not possible to book a short stay at Evelyn Gardens. If you would like to book for less than 10 weeks, you should apply to stay at Xenia.

Applications for summer accommodation 2023 are now open.

Rooms are provided on a first-come-first-served basis and allocation of specific Halls and rooms are at the discretion of the Accommodation team (based on availability). We recommend you apply early for the best availability. 

We are currently working through summer acommodation applications and are in the process of issuing offers. Accommodation Offers will be sent via email.

If you have not yet received correspondence from us, we are still processing your application. In the event your application is unsuccessful you will be contacted via email.

Out of hours a member of security will assist with access needs or emergencies, however they won't be able to resolve any general queries.

More about the Halls

Holbein, Southwell, and Willis Jackson residences in Evelyn Gardens will be available for Imperial students over the summer. Evelyn Gardens is set around a traditional London townhouse square in Chelsea and is a short walk from South Kensington campus. 

Xenia is a hall of residence located in Waterloo. Students can be walking along the River Thames in just a matter of minutes, with its famous and iconic backdrop of cultural attractions including the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and the Tate Modern gallery to name but a few.
