Student Programme Partner: Professional Effectiveness

My Research: My research is in Algorithmic Game Theory, an intersection of Economics and Computer Science that studies strategic interactions and decision-making of agents.

Why I applied for this particular SPP role: I attended several courses offered by the Graduate School, and the courses on professional effectiveness were particularly important to me. I have already worked to improve students’ studies as a course representative and would like to do so similar in this role.

Why I think professional development training is important: Professional development is important for both academic and industrial careers. The courses offered by the Graduate School support doctoral studies and enable the students to prepare for their subsequent academic or industrial careers.
