Student Programme Partner: Professional Progression

My Research: My research is focusing on how interactions influence and affect professional identity and career intentions in life students. This research will allow for the development of how an individuals professional identity changes throughout their degree and how it applies to their career intentions.

Why I applied for this particular SPP role: I choose to apply to this programme as I want to help shape and continue to develop the careers of aspiring researchers to ensure that they have the skills to apply their knowledge in a professional setting.

Why I think professional development training is important: Professional progression is important for the learners to be able to identify the skills and knowledge which they can apply to other roles. Researchers need to be able to recognise how to present their work and the area's which benefit particular sectors helping develop the transition into industry or academia.
