What does chairing involve as a PG Rep?
An appreciation of chairing is core to assisting you in your roles. This short, blended course gives an overview of skills which contribute to successful meetings, and easy to apply tips. Chairing skills are all valuable for work or study, whether or not you are required to act as a chair, Reps will have the chance to reflect and propose opportunities to enhance their practice.
This course is recommended for all postgraduate representatives by Faculty SSC leads, it is credit bearing for doctoral researchers.
Course Information
You will need to dedicate a total time of ~2 hours to complete this course, which includes ~30 minutes preparatory asynchronous activities carried out via Blackboard. There is a lot of material to explore via the Course Notes and links on Blackboard after the live course, and optional follow ups are available.
