Introduction to feedback and formative assessment in the Faculty of Medicine
Who should attend?
This introductory, face-to-face Faculty of Medicine workshop is aimed at Imperial College staff who are new to teaching or those who wish to review their existing methods of assessing and providing feedback to learners. The workshop is interactive in nature and will explore how and why assessment and feedback can be used to develop students' learning. It will also provide opportunities for participants to practise the skills needed in facilitating feedback effectively.
NB This workshop has considerable overlap with Introduction to assessment for active learning. Duplicating attendance at these workshops is likely to be unrewarding.
