The President’s Awards for Excellence in Culture and Community - Previous Winners (2022)

The Awards for Culture and Community were first introduced in 2019 and celebrate the achievements of teams and individual staff at Imperial, recognising excellent leadership which motivates and inspires others, developing an environment which promotes equality and diversity and identifying those who communicate and collaborate effectively throughout the College. This award category was in memory of Imperial’s first Provost, Professor James Stirling who sadly passed away on 9 November 2018.

President’s Medal for Excellence in Culture and Community. In 2022, this was awarded to Professor Nilay Shah, Department of Chemical Engineering

The President’s Award for Excellence in Leadership underlines the importance of good leadership and management at all levels within the College and supports a key aim of the College’s Strategy. In 2022, this was awarded to Kirsty Flower, Faculty of Medicine Centre.

The President’s Award for Excellence in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion -The College is committed to developing an environment which promotes equality of opportunity, values diversity and where students and staff can work and study free from discrimination and harassment. In 2022, this was awarded to:
