    Research

    PhD title:  CNN based threat detection in 3D CT images.

    Supervisors:  Prof. Deeph Chana, Prof. Washington Yotto Ochieng.

    Angelos works with AI methods to detect emerging threat materials and objects on X-ray baggage scanner images. Prior to this, he worked for several years as a machine learning and software engineer.

    Research

    Rob was appointed by NATO’s Secretary General as the Head of NATO’s Innovation Unit in December 2019. Rob’s professional interests are centered at the national security intersection of finance, technology, and Defence, underpinned by those relationships between the private sector, academia, and public sector.

    PhD title:  Societal Resilience   

    Supervisors:  Prof. Washington Yotto   Ochieng   and   Dr.   Mireille Elhajj

    Xiangmin   has a MSc from the first cohort of the Security and Resilience Programme at ISST, Imperial College London, and a BA in Comprehensive Physics from Colorado College.
