What We Do
The Imperial College Women in Physics Society aims to create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive network for minorities in physics.
Through a series of social, educational, and academic events we hope to promote a strong sense of community within the department. These events connect undergraduates, postgraduates, post-docs and staff members together to provide opportunities for friendship, support, mentorship, and access to role models. Some of the events we have organised in the past include lunches, bike rides, cocktail evenings, outreach opportunities, professional development courses, and seminars.

By creating an empowered cohort of women, we hope to increase the number of minorities who continue on to have successful careers in physics. We are excited about a future where representation is equal at every level of the physics career path, from undergraduate all the way up to professor.
