You will have an assigned Personal Tutor that you will meet throughout each year, getting to know them during your time in the Chemistry Department. They can advise you about academic progress including study skills, exam preparation and provide a reference.

Personal Tutors are also able to support you and advise you on services that can support you if you experience personal problems including mental health and wellbeing, bullying and harassment and social issues.

Act as a deputy Senior Tutor for your year, can be contacted regarding any aspect of your pastoral care including mitigating circumstances. You may be referred by your personal tutor to a Year Tutor. They are highly regarded personal tutors with many years of experience and are able to support personal tutors in their duties.

Can be contacted regarding any aspect of your pastoral care, you may be referred by your personal tutor. If you require an interruption to your studies for medical or personal reasons you will meet with the Senior Tutor. If you submit a mitigating circumstances form with evidence you will liaise with the Senior Tutor.

Can advise and support you on any aspect of your pastoral care and will be able to direct you to services the University offers to provide additional support at times of need. The Student Experience Officer can be found in C242.

Declare or discuss circumstances that require adjustments for your studies. Able to advise you on how to receive support and adjustments to help with your studies.
