You will have an assigned personal tutor who you will meet throughout your time within the department. They will get to know you and can advise you about academic progress. This includes study skills, exam preparation, and providing a reference.

Personal tutors are also able to support you and advise you on services. They can help if you experience personal problems such as mental health and wellbeing, bullying and harassment, and social issues.

Act as a deputy senior tutor for your year, and can be contacted regarding any aspect of your pastoral care including mitigating circumstances. You may be referred by your personal tutor to a year tutor. 

The Head of Pastoral Care and the Student Experience ensures you enjoy every aspect of your course, you regularly hear from them to provide information and listen to your feedback. The Head of Pastoral Care and the Student Experience oversees pastoral care in the department and can be contacted regarding any aspect of your wellbeing, and you may be referred by your personal tutor. If you require an interruption to your studies you will meet with the Head of Pastoral Care and Student Experience/Senior Tutor. If you submit a mitigating circumstances form with evidence you will liaise with the Head of Pastoral Care and the Student Experience/Senior Tutor.

Can advise and support you on any aspect of your pastoral care and will be able to direct you to services the College offers. They can provide additional support at times of need. They supports and coordinate the student experience, responding to student feedback, and working with your student reps on itiatives to ensure you enjoy all aspects of your time here.

They are able to advise you on how to receive support and adjustments to help with your studies. You can declare or discuss circumstances with them.
