Rising Scientist Day is a networking event for all PhD, MPhil and MD (Res) students held at the Hammersmith Campus. All second and third-year students were required to present a poster for the event and poster presentations took place in the morning followed by a 3-minute thesis competition in the afternoon. 

Both the presentation and the thesis competition provided an opportunity for students to showcase their work, network and share ideas. Following the presentation, alumni talked about their PhD experience and ongoing career.
