The MRC MultiSci iCASE is a 3.5 year studentship and the financial package covers the following: 

1. A tax-free maintenance award, currently £25,280 per annum, for 3 years of research, plus a further 6 months for the writing-up period. 
2. Tuition fees at UKRI level for 3 years. The writing-up period does not incur tuition fees.
3. An enhanced research training support grant (RTSG) of £6,400 per annum for 3 years, paid to the supervisor for supporting the student’s training and research.
4. A conference fund of £300 per annum for 3 years to facilitate registration and attendance at conferences and scientific meetings.  
5. Supplement funds to support a wide range of research and training activities including internships, high cost training and outreach.
