The Faculty of Medicine's Collaborative Partnerships team at Imperial College London was established in 2010. An experienced team with a broad, global outlook, our expertise comes together in our passion for collaboration, working with partners to design, develop and deliver a wide variety of projects in the field of medical education, including building a new medical school, developing new degree programmes, offering student exchange programmes and providing world-leading clinical placement opportunities.

Professor Desmond Johnston leads on the Faculty of Medicine's international partnership activities in research and education. He is also a clinical researcher in the Division of Diabetes Endocrinology and Metabolism. |

Mr Martin Lupton leads on the Faculty of Medicine's undergraduate and postgraduate education activity. He also works as a consultant obstetrician at Chelsea and Westminster Foundation NHS Trust. |

As manager of the Collaborative Partnerships team, Penny oversees all collaboration activity and works with Roxy and Lucie to ensure a high level of service is consistently provided in all aspects of the team's partnerships. She specialises in working with and understanding the needs of new partners to scope and plan their projects, so you can get in touch with her if you'd like to discuss an idea or potential partnership. |

Roxy coordinates the student activities for students from Imperial’s collaborative partners, including elective programmes, clinical placements, the Imperial Immersion Week and the Professor Jenny Higham Collaboration Grant. She also provides support to the Medical Education Research Unit (MERU) and scoping for new partnerships. Roxy has experience working at three Universities in a variety of roles, predominantly focusing on transnational education and quality assurance. |

Angela is the key point of contact and manages the diary for the Head of Business & Educational Development and the Vice Dean (International Activities), Faculty of Medicine. Duties also include managing the London Office of LKCMedicine; making sure the office has the resources it needs to run efficiently and dealing with any financial matters including ordering, purchasing and invoices. In addition, Angela coordinates domestic and international travel arrangements for collaborative activity. |

Joshua Blacker |
Josh manages the Education Developments team, liaising with academic leads to identify new educational development opportunities. He project manages new initiatives from initial scoping through governance approval and development through to the point of delivery. He has worked in similar higher education roles after a brief spell in the charity sector. |

Rumi Khanom |
Rumi is responsible for the sourcing of industrial work and laboratory placements for BSc Medical Biosciences (BMB) programme. Rumi’s role involves establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with Industry, including networking, marketing and stakeholder management. Alongside this, Rumi also undertakes research related to the expansion of the Faculty’s provisions, including providing support on project management of new programmes. |

Roxane Ray |
Roxane’s role involves scoping, recommending and supporting project management of new programmes. This includes analysing resource requirements and availability, drafting documentation, as well as undertaking market research and data analysis to help identify opportunities for the expansion of the Faculty’s undergraduate science-based programmes and wider educational portfolio. Aside from this Roxane provides general administrative support to the Manager and Academic Leads for Educational Development. |
