Trauma Management short courses

Back to Surgical Innovation overview

The Trauma Management stream, held at St Mary’s Campus Paddington, consists of two week-long modules. Trauma surgery covers all types of trauma, including musculoskeletal trauma, pre-hospital management, emergency room responsibility, intensive care management and rehabilitation.  This stream will link the differing aspects of trauma care into a cohesive syllabus to give a trauma surgeon a greater insight into the overall management of trauma. A unique learning experience will be achieved through utilising both simulation training and hands-on tissue dissection.
