PhD studentships

The Department of Medicine provides an ideal environment to undertake research. It has a research degree student body of 400 PhD and MD (Res) students making up one-tenth of Imperial College’s research degree student population.

The Department welcomes research degree applications from around the world, provided that they meet Imperial College’s eligibility criteria. Our supervisors are outstanding scientists and leaders in their field and several have recently been commended with a Rector's Award for their teaching and research supervision.
