SSCP DTP Cohort 11 (2024) Project Call is now open
The call for projects for SSCP DTP Cohort 11 (2024 commencement) is now open; all projects proposal must be submitted by 12pm, Friday 29 September. Supervisors from Imperial College London and Core Partners of the SSCP DTP can email the SSCP DTP for further information and relevant documents.
Note for students: the project adverts and call for applications will go live on this website and other channels in late October this year.
For Imperial PhD researchers only: Call for applications to align with the SSCP DTP - application deadline: 28 July, 2023
Imperial PhD researchers starting in October 2023 (with approval from supervisors) are invited to apply to join the next cohort of the Science and Solutions for a Changing Planet DTP. Successful applicants’ research must relate to the NERC remit. As an aligned PhD researcher, students will receive bespoke skills gap training from academic and industry experts, interdisciplinary peer to peer collaboration, and support from the SSCP DTP team. To find out more, please email c.morgan@imperial.ac.uk.
The call for applications to commence a NERC-funded SSCP DTP studentship in 2023 is now closed, and we are no longer accepting applications. The call for 2024 applications will open in October 2023. Below a list of projects for information only for that call - these are for information only - please do no longer apply.

Department of Earth Science and Engineering
The Earth Sciences and Engineering department requires that applicants submit a full college application by the SSCP DTP deadline. This is because ESE shortlists candidates for multiple scholarship schemes at the same time, which will improve your overall chances of success. To apply for a project hosted in the ESE department, please complete the SSCP DTP pre-application form, and send your CV and personal statement to main ESE project supervisor as soon as possible so they can coach you and work with you through the selection process.
