This climate photography challenge team is making a comeback from 2020-2021, with the mission to encourage GCSE and A-Level aged students (15-18yrs) to capture an image which best represents what climate change means for them. This photography competition, in collaboration with the Natural History Museum, will involve school-based workshops, followed by a competition, running 1st April – 1st May.

Participants will be able to enter their image into one of three categories: ‘People in Nature’, ‘a Hurting Planet’, and ‘a Changing World’. There will also be opportunity for other members of the public to get involved, through a public entry submission, to increase our outreach. A pop-up exhibition and awards ceremony in the Flett Theatre, Natural History Museum, will take place in June 2023, for participants to come and see their work displayed. To provide a lasting awareness of the climate issues portrayed in the photographs, the NHM have kindly offered to display the winners’ photographs for the public to visit.
