At the Institute of Global Health Innovation, we run several educational programmes that feature teaching from experts in the field. Many of our courses are suitable for professionals working in healthcare or allied with healthcare systems. Due to this, we offer the flexibility to study part-time.

Our courses are run by Imperial College London together with our partners for some specific programmes.

MSc Healthcare and Design

This programme, run by our Helix Centre, has been specifically designed to suit professionals working in or allied to the healthcare system, or those with experience of the healthcare space who wish to develop the skills to advance an entrepreneurial idea. The programme has been developed for part-time delivery, allowing you to attend without having to take a year out of your career. We also encourage you to complete your research in your own place of work (under Imperial's supervision), allowing you to embed the knowledge and skills you have learned into your own area of practice.

MSc Health Policy

IGHI is working to identify new, high-quality and sustainable business models for delivering health care for future generations. This part-time course is hosted by our Centre for Health Policy. It offers a chance for those working in the health sector, such as government officials, clinicians, NHS managers and employees of health industry and consulting companies, to learn from international experts on important aspects of health policy.

MRes Medical Robotics and Image-Guided Intervention

Medical robotics and image-guided intervention are two technology-led areas of medicine that have experienced tremendous growth and improvement over the last 20 years. This has been driven partly by improving less invasive surgical treatments.
This course makes the most of our Hamlyn Centre’s unique research facilities and multidisciplinary environment. Students will learn about this field through taught courses and then apply their knowledge and skills to medical and surgical problems in a nine-month research project.
