MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering

It is interesting and great fun to understand how the things around you actually work, and how engineers have applied the science to everyday things we take for granted.

What I particularly like about our course is the lab work - you get to apply what you've learned from lectures, and because you're collaborating with other students this really helps us learn more from each other.

Last summer I spent five weeks working at a very small design company.  This was great because I was able to get an overview of the whole company and could watch a project go from design to manufacturer.

You'll find that people here work hard, and play really, really hard.  The courses are intensive, but in my downtime I enjoy music and playing trombone in the Imperial College Big Band.
