From the classroom to the real world

Engineers are innovators and problem solvers - and so we need practical skills, planning, time-management and the ability to work as part of a team.

Through a structured programme of project work, you’ll start developing your engineering skills. Group projects in your second and third years give you the opportunity to investigate the technical, social and financial aspects of products and services, and how to design, build and test them.

By your final year you’ll be fully equipped to demonstrate all your knowledge, skills and innovation in a large and ambitious project of your own.
