Sponsored by Qinetiq for my first two-years,  I worked at their research labs in Malvern for two summer vacations and f or a 12 month Year in Industry b efore joining Imperial College.  I was named 'Student of the Year' while on this industrial placement and helped develop GPU programming architecture and co-authored a research paper.  Since then I have worked on target tracking algorithms and on a 'Video Google' project. I will be spending my fourth and final year at the University of California under the exchange student arrangements with Imperial College.  Before going to the US I'm taking up an internship with UBS and a two-week placement with United Visual Artists.
