DoC Project Showcase Day

Join us on Thursday 29th June for the Department of Computing's Project Showcase!

This annual event celebrates our students' final year project work, presented to an audience of academics, fellow students and guests from industry.  It is a hugely enjoyable day with an exceptionally high standard of presentations. There will be a 'Best Presentation Award' and a 'People's Choice Award' for the best project.

There will be of the order of seven or eight project presentations, each with demos and with time for Q&A. The topics promise to be rich and varied - in the past we have seen ground-breaking work in areas such as:  Robotics, Artificial Intelligence,Machine Learning, Graphics, Visualisation, Software Engineering, Programming Languages, Security, Computer Systems, Finance and Formal Methods.

Several of this year's projects are already attracting major international interest and some of these are highly likely to feature.

Tickets are free, sign up in advance.  This event is aimed at Industry.
