Our enthusiastic and diligent Student Ambassadors support the delivery of a range of summer school programmes for the College

Are you a current Imperial undergraduate student looking for work opportunities for summer 2023? Interested in working with young people aged 14-18 interested in STEM and Imperial?

Over the summer, the College coordinate Outreach and Global summer schools for groups of young people. These summer schools are packed with fun and exciting academic and social activities for participants and large numbers of Student Ambassadors are required to run these dynamic events. 

We're looking for Student Ambassadors to work as Academic (Day) and Pastoral (Evening/Night) mentors on these programmes. Key skills and attributes include:

  • Friendly and personable manner
  • Supportive and encouraging approach
  • Proactive team player
  • Clear and confident communicator
  • Ability to think on your feet
  • Good time management
  • Patient
  • Confident managing group dynamics
  • An appreciation for Health & Safety and Safeguarding issues (training is provided)
