‌The level of tuition fees you are liable for is based on your fee status, which we assess based on government regulations. The criteria we use are listed at the UK Council for International Student Affairs UKCISA - international student advice and guidance - England: fee status

Continuing students proceeding into the 2023-2024 academic year, need to submit their fee status questionnaire before 01 September 2023. New students are not eligible to apply for a fee assessment once your course has started. Undergraduate students can however apply before the next academic year starts. Applications must be submitted between 01 July 2023 and 01 September 2023. We do not back date fee status changes any changes in fee status will be reflected in the proceeding academic year.

***Postgraduate taught students – if you disagreed with your fee status you should have questioned this at the Admissions stage. Once you have enrolled on your programme and accepted the College’s terms and conditions of study you will not be able to retrospectively question your fee status.

Requesting a Change in Fee Status

If you have been classed as an Overseas student and you feel, based on UKCISA - international student advice and guidance - England: fee status that this is incorrect then you can ask to have this reviewed in the window of opportunity mentioned above. Please submit a copy of the fee status questionnaire‌, together with any additional evidence you may have, to the Student Records Team. You can either scan and email the questionnaire, hand it in at the Student Hub, or return it by post.

If you disagree with an assessment we have made after receiving your fee status questionnaire then you should complete and return a Fee Status Appeal Form to the Student Records Team within four weeks of being informed of the decision.
