Pre-course work

Participants should have attended the Manual Handling and Lifting for Users course as a pre-requisite.

Who should attend

Heads of Department / Division nominate manual Handling Assessors. Manual Handling Assessment is a requirement of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (as amended). This workshop is designed to equip appointed Assessors with the knowledge to risk-assess work activities locally.

Essential Information

All participants must complete Manual Handling e-learning, which complements face-to-face training and is a helpful Refresher.
