Clinical Academic Training Office

The PFDC and the Clinical Academic Training Office (CATO) work together to support clinicians in developing their clinical academic careers. CATO is a dedicated, centralised multi-professional academic training hub and point of contact for advice on academic careers for the Imperial College Academic Health Science Centre. CATO supports a growing community of clinical academic researchers from medicine, nursing/AHPs/clinical scientists/pharmacists, and supports all Imperial clinicians undertaking PhDs.

CATO provides useful resources and information, supports specific fellowship programmes and runs a series of research conferences, careers sessions and masterclasses with 2 core themes: developing a research career and research skills.

Further details are on the CATO website.
