The session will explain the importance of copyright when using other people’s images in your assignments, posters and presentations. We will discuss Creative Commons licenses and how they make it easier to reuse and repurpose other people’s content.
By the end of this session you will be able to:
- understand Creative Commons licenses and how they are used in different contexts for copyright
- choose the correctly licensed image for your academic situation
- reference and attribute images for different purposes
