How to find a book

Our library collections hold over 200,000 print books and other materials and over 250,000 e-books.

To find a book on the shelf start your search by looking for the book details in Library Search.

Make a note of the shelf mark (such as 333.91 FEL) and floor number or “Level” and locate the book.

Issue it to your account on a self-service machine. You will need your College ID.

If the book you want is at a different campus, you can request it.

You can also borrow DVDs, maps and consult our theses collection.

If the book is available as an e-book, click on "Online access" to read it.

Recreational reading

As well as academic books and resources we support you with our fiction and recreational reading collections.

You can find most of these items on display on Level 1 and Level 5 at Abdus Salam Library, as well as at the campus libraries and as e-books.
