The college uses Cisco Unity Voicemail to access voicemail. 

Set up your voicemail mailbox

To set up your voicemail mailbox, including recording your personal greeting and to set up your PIN, follow these steps:

  1. Dial 41000.
  2. Enter 000000 followed by the hash-key (#) when the system prompts you for a security code.
  3. Follow the setup tutorial to record your mailbox name, outgoing personal greeting and set up your PIN until the system says "You have now finished enrolment". You have set up your voicemail mailbox.

Note: The security code of six zeros will only work the first time you use your new voicemail box. 

Message notifications

Now that you have set up your voice mailbox, whenever someone leaves you a voicemail you will be notified. The notification will be a red light on your telephone.

Access your voicemail mailbox

There are four ways to access voicemail. To access your mailbox, follow the below steps:

Access your mailbox

Dial 41000.

  1. Dial 41000.
  2. Enter your PIN followed by the hash-key (#) when prompted by the system
  3. Press the star key (*)
  4. Enter your ID or mailbox number (your extension number) followed by the hash-key (#).

  1. Dial (+44) 020 7594 1000
  2. Enter your ID or mailbox number (your extension number) followed by the hash-key (#).

During the main menu

While listening to the main menu, you can use the following buttons on your telephone:

  •  Hear new messages - 1
  •  Send a message - 2
  •  Review saved messages - 3 1
  •  Change set up options - 4
  •  Change greetings - 4 1
  •  Turn alternate greeting on or off - 4 1 2
  •  Edit other greetings - 4 1 3
  •  Change PIN - 4 3 1
  •  Change recorded name - 4 3 2

During or after the message menu

While listening to a message or after listening to a message, you can use the following buttons on your telephone:

  •  Restart message - 1
  •  Play previous message - 1 4
  •  Play next message - 1 6
  •  Save - 2
  •  Delete - 3
  •  Rewind message-  7
  •  Pause or resume - 8
  •  Fast forward - 9
  •  Skip message, save as is - # # (if you have already listened to a message, press # once)
  •  Play message properties - 1 5
  •  Cancel or backup - *

Reset your pin

To request the reset of your Voicemail PIN, please contact your Telecoms Representative who will be able to place an order on your behalf.
