MATLAB is produced by MathWorks, the leading developer of mathematical computing software for engineers and scientists.

Imperial College London deploys these tools to students, educators and researchers via a centralised license to both increase the administrative efficiency of software management and distribution and ensure that a common set of tools is readily available to all users.

The campus-wide MathWorks TAH license includes analysis, design, modelling, simulation, testing and code generation products for the engineering and science schools, plus computational finance products for the business and economic schools.

ICT has renewed and upgraded the license to cover the full suite of MATLAB products:

The agreement gives you access to software and associated documentation as well as immediate access to new releases. The TAH license permits the installation of software on campus-managed and user-owned computers. If you don't have the requisite permissions to install new software you can log a ticket with local IT support to install MATLAB under the campus licence or access it via the Software Hub

Update your MathWorks licence

If you are an existing MATLAB user and you want to continue accessing the software, you will need to update your license file.

A few days before expiration, a message will appear showing the days left on your current license.

To renew your license please follow the video instructions from the MathWorks website, Administering a Campus-Wide License.

TAH License number – 600177

Note: We have renewed the master license and you should be able to use the software even if the message keeps showing up after the renewal of the license in your machine.
