Briefing overview

This briefing serves as an introduction to mental health and aims to raise staff awareness around mental health at Imperial, reducing stigma and fostering positive attitudes towards seeking help. This briefing will enable you to start recognising the signs of poor mental health and the importance of speaking up, and to take away some key tips for self-care.

Who is this briefing for?

This course is open to all staff. For managers and those who have supervisory responsibilities, it is recommended that you attend Mental Health First Aid Half Day and Leading with Mental Health in mind.

  • For some of our training, you will be required to keep your video cameras on. Please ensure prior to attending that you have a fully functioning camera and microphone. If you have any issues with your equipment, please contact us as soon as possible. If you require your camera to be off as a workplace adjustment, please let us know in advance so that we can makethe trainer aware.
