"Both my BSc and PhD are in Chemistry, and I now work in Chemical Engineering, where I am a Professor of Physical Chemistry and hold a Lilly/RAEng Chair in Pharmaceutical Molecular Systems.

"I work in molecular thermodynamics, studying how the interactions between molecules are reflected in the world around us.

"Academia is at its best when is collaborative. I am lucky to work with a great group of PhDs, post-docs and academics in the Molecular Systems Engineering group.

"I love the diversity of Imperial and seeing how students from all over the world work and grow together. There are fantastic opportunities for women in science and engineering; although the path is not always as you planned it, the life-long journey of learning is very exciting!"
