"I am a Trans woman and space plasma physicist, using spacecraft data to study the plasma that emanates from the Sun and its interaction with the Earth’s magnetic field. I have been fortunate to have a number of amazing people in my life, from mentors to friends and colleagues that have supported me, both in my scientific career and as a person, and have helped me to grow into the person that I am today.

"It is important to realise that there is no one kind of person that makes the ideal scientist. It is easy to get bogged down in thinking that you are not good enough or need to be a particular kind of person, but we all bring our own unique perspectives to the work that we do. It is important to take the time to discover who you are and strive to be the kind of person that you want to see in your field."
