"Teaching is a great privilege and responsibility. Over the years, I have tried to convey the idea that a language is not the sum of its rules and linguistic technicalities. It is a universe of culture, stories, traditions and beauty. It is a gift to be grateful for and to treat with love and respect. I feel very fortunate because while teaching, I have learned so much from my students.
