"If I could give one piece of advice to young women interested in STEM it would be don't think you can't do it. When an opportunity comes across, take it with both hands. Don't think, 'I don't know if I can do that.' Just give it a go. If it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out - but just imagine if it does!

"Every time I've been presented with an opportunity I've accepted it. I've just said, 'Yes, I'd like to have a go at that.' And that's what's given me the diversity of roles that I've held. Embrace every opportunity and give it your best shot, and you'll be surprised how many doors open for you."
