French 2: Who is this level for?

French level 2 is suitable for learners who have already completed French 1 (Complete Beginners) in the after:hours programme at Imperial College, or have equivalent prior experience, such as A1 level in the CEFR / pre-GCSE (A1).

Although some revision will take place during the first lesson, students are expected to already be familiar with the French alphabet and pronunciation, numbers, definite and indefinite articles, adjective agreement in gender and number, possessive adjectives, forming questions, and the present tense, including reflexive verbs.
